Via Verde Wines is a family wine project connected with Ilindentsi and the Struma Valley. Its name and philosophy follow the idea of a green path — a nature-conscious approach, an interest in indigenous grapes, and a clear expression of origin.
The project began in 2013. Its first vineyard was an 80-decare site in Levunovo. Current external sources mention more than 400 decares of vineyards, but that figure should be confirmed directly with the winery before being treated as definitive.
Land and vineyards
Public information associates Via Verde with Sandanski Misket, Keratsuda, Early Melnik Vine, Cabernet Franc, Syrah and Merlot. Indigenous varieties form an important part of the project's identity.
