A Taste of Tradition
Libera Estate is a wine estate in Hotovo, Sandanski Municipality, with a clear interest in the indigenous grapes of the Melnik area. Its wines are connected with the estate's own vineyards and with the idea of expressing variety and terroir as directly as possible.
The current portfolio includes the Libera, Hotovo and Differente ranges. For single-variety wines in the Libera range, the estate highlights the use of stainless steel as a way to preserve a more direct expression of grape and place without strong oak influence.
Land and vineyards
The estate identifies Broad-Leaved Melnik Vine, Melnik 55, Melnik 82, Keratsuda and Sandanski Misket among its most significant indigenous plantings. The vineyards are located around Hotovo.
